Pants: Anthropologie Lemon Grove High-Rise Boot Cut Jeans. Your spring/summer wardrobe wants me to relay to you that it’s specifically requested to have these. | Shirt: Ann Taylor Ribbed Ruffle Cut Sweater. Sure, when life hands you lemons, you should make lemonade. But before you do that, take a fun photo because how cute are lemons?!
Especially on some fabulous pants. First of all, the print on these is so perfect for warm weather, and the high-rise, cropped boot cut style is a really fresh take on your pant game. I’ve been really crushing on the print lately, and have my eye on juuust a few items (cough, cough…this lemon-print sweater & these flat espadrilles.) If you’re in my camp, shop some cute lemon-print finds below! (I even managed to find the most adorable stretchy pants for Gracie.)
Also, let’s pause to chat about this shirt, because not only is it a must have for spring, but it’s currently 50% off with the code “Main Squeeze” right now. (I MEAN. Perfect, right?! I swear that wasn’t planned.) It has subtle ruffle sleeves, the prettiest stitch detailing down the arms, and the fabric is just a little stretchy, making it so comfortable. This is one of those items that you can wear every week to everything from work to play and have it be the perfect touch. I really can’t recommend it enough!
Side note – berp – Chicago’s still chilly so needing a coat on the regular. I can’t wait to shed this trench for a while, but in the meantime, ‘ol faithful is looking pretty good, yea? (Psst – LOTS of coats are on sale right now so be sure to take a gander to save for this upcoming fall! I’m loving this one and this one.)

Switching gears to the personal front. What are we up to this weekend, friends? We’ve got lots of family time in the books, per the usual, but we’re taking it a step further and have friends and family coming in to celebrate Josephine’s first birthday on Sunday. My current intent is to have it be floral-themed party (Josephine Bloom…I had to!), but truth be told, it’s been so busy that I’m just now planning all the decorations/details. Sooo….we may just have lots of cake. 😉
Doug and I also have a double date dinner planned with Kelly and Mitch, and I can not wait! Every time we’ve gotten together for the past…I don’t know, year?…we’ve had kiddos in tow. Since my parents will be in town, they offered to babysit on Saturday night, and I’m really looking forward to some long catch up chats with one of our favorite couples!
Hope you’ve got some fun in the books in the days ahead! As usual, be sure to follow along with our family’s adventures on Instagram/Instagram Stories.
