Ah, moving. It’s a curse and a blessing. Every time I move, the process reminds me of why I loathe it so deeply – packing, unpacking, cleaning, sorting, organizing, purging – it seems to never end. But in the midst of the madness there is indeed a lot of good. Purging means getting rid of the clutter, sorting means putting things in their place, and cleaning means a spic-and-span foundation.
Annoyances aside, one of the fun parts of moving is decorating. Every space is unique, and while I try to keep classic pieces that I love from one move to the next, the reality is that what looks great in one space may not look right in another. Sometimes you need to get rid of the old to make way for the new, especially when you’re combining two people’s things together.
With a plethora of Salvation Army trips behind us, I’m searching for some new art work for our new apartment. Naturally I went to Etsy, and search after search, I found myself oogling (is that a word?) over typography. It’s the perfect mix of modern and personal.
Here are a few favorites that I’m considering. Which do you like best?

I love “you’re my favorite work of art”
Moving can be such a pain! But doesn’t it feel oh so good once you’re settled in?

I am kind of a typography addict, I must admit. It was one of my favorite things to buy when I was moving, and I keep finding ones to add to my wishlist when I need a little “update.” I absolutely love what you chose here!
Love the coffee one and the gold &. I do love a good moving purge, there are so many things I’d rather get rid of than move!
It’s hard to pick you have some great ones! I like the “oh the places you will go,” the gold & sign and the life in coffee spoons.
Good luck with the move!

I just moved into my new place a month ago – so I’m constantly searching Etsy for cute prints. My favorites in your roundup are “Oh the places you’ll go!” and “Lettuce turnip the beet.” So punny 😉 Also obsessed with the ampersand print. I ordered it for myself in turquoise and gold. So fab.
