As of Saturday, I have a new nephew!
His name is Grayson, and he’s quite possibly the cutest little guy I’ve ever laid eyes on. (Also, can I just say for the record that it’s so fun my baby boy with have a cousin so close in age to play with?!) Flash back a few weeks, and our close family + friends got together to throw the parents-to-be a “Twinkle Twinkle” baby shower to celebrate his pending arrival. I thought I’d share some of my favorite decorative touches with you – the group of us who threw it worked hard at pulling it together and I was so proud with how it all turned out!
“Twinkle Twinkle” Baby Shower Decor
Hosted At The Royal Park Hotel in Rochester
The venue was absolutely stunning! Lots of natural light. And I also loved that you could see the colors of the fall leaves through the windows.
Gold Star-Themed Flower Toppers
Star-Themed Books As Seating Arrangements
The seating arrangements for the shower were according to tables that had the names of book titles. All the books tied in the “Twinkle, Twinkle” theme. The books that were leveraged included: The Moon Sees You & Me + The Little Prince + Pete The Cat Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star + Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site + Good Day, Good Night + Goodnight Moon.
Star Themed Head Table For Visual Heirarchy
To create a visual hierarchy, at the front of the room, we had a main table. This was decorated with a sign that said “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, flowers, greenery, gold glitter stars scattered on the top, and other touches that tied in the baby theme. Then behind this table, to the left and right, sat the gift tables for guests to put their gift items on.
Gold Stars & Favors At Every Table
Gold glitter stars were lightly scattered at every table, and for the favors, we had little candles that said “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” at every table setting.
Delicious Desserts & Treat To Enjoy
Probably one of my favorite parts! We had a star and moon cake, and all the other desserts tied in the theme as well. (Everything besides the cake was made at by the hotel’s bakery!)
Below are the group of hosts, and the glowing parents-to-be. (Who are now parents – YAY!) Huge congrats – We love you so much!
I’m curious – What are your favorite touches from above!? Do you love throwing events like this as much as I do?! It’s so much fun!

Love the twinkle twinkle baby shower decorations! The star-themed centerpiece is so creative, and the gold glitter stars scattered around the room really add to the festive atmosphere. The desserts look delicious too!
