Thank you so much to everyone who filled out the reader survey last week! I was overwhelmed by the all your responses and amazing feedback.
I know that when other bloggers do surveys I like to read recaps, because I can always find a learning or two of my own. As promised, a recap of my survey results can be found after the jump.
Survey Results:
Your favorite topic to read about on Isn’t That Charming is DIY Projects, with Inspirations & Links as a close second and Outfit Posts & Style tied for third.
When asked what types of posts you want to read more of, there was a variety of responses including more DIY projects, links, outfit posts, beauty tips and decor ideas. There were many topic requests including outfit challenges, new music suggestions and beauty demos. Almost everyone noted that you enjoy a variety of topics and want me to keep writing about what is inspiring.
In the name of honesty, I’ve been worried about what you think of my Style and Outfit Posts. I’m by no means a stylist, am a frequent shopper of clearance racks as a result of being broke in the city, and think of fashion as a fun expression rather than something to follow. So, to hear that you want to see more style/outfit posts, like a unique twist on things, and want me to discuss how to put things together was so encouraging.
Suggestions for improvement included being more personal. Readers noted they want to see more life photos and that you want me to write more about general musings.
Speaking of writing, thank you so much for all of your compliments toward mine. I actually thought I was writing too much in my posts, so it was really encouraging to read in almost all of the responses that it’s my writing & personality that keeps you coming back.
A huge shout out needs to be given to those who have recommended this blog to their friends. I had no idea how many of you found this through friend referrals – I’m flattered and humbled by this and want you to know how much I appreciate all your referrals, especially since it’s all been anonymous.
Also, I didn’t realize that a huge majority of readers come every day or a few times a week. Again, a huge thank you! I feel honored to have such a loyal reader base – this is added much fuel to my “blogging fire”. I will keep trying to produce consistent, timely and interesting content worth coming back to.
Sending much love and appreciation your way. It’s seeing this blog’s “page views” get higher, comments from readers, and warm compliments that keeps me going. I appreciate your feedback and am looking forward to all this blog will bring in the future.

I love reading results of surveys like this. Your DIY’s are adorable and I’m just like you in the style arena, only I don’t do outfit posts because I feel like I don’t have anything to offer. People have told me I should so maybe I’ll start it. 🙂
So glad it was helpful. I worked on my survey this weekend and hope to get it up in the next few weeks. xox
