Another weekend, already?! Not that I’m complaining, but wow, these weeks are flying by. What do you have going on? We had my stepbrother’s wedding last night at Detroit’s Belle Isle Conservatory. The sunset when we walked out of the ceremony was the icing on the cake — oranges, reds, and yellows – it was SO beautiful. We have a few more family plans over the weekend, but other than that, we’re laying low!
Feels good to have some downtime because next week is going to be crazy. I’m actually headed into Chicago on Monday and Tuesday for some work meetings, Wednesday we’re going to the Ray Lamontagne concert in Detroit, and then Thursday we have our 20-week ultrasound. As always, be sure to follow along via Instagram!
Here’s The Charming Roundup: V3 for this week’s roundups of great reads + links + finds!

Meghan Markle interviewed Michelle Obama and it’s so good. (Also, I have to note, I love Meghan’s written words. She’s a great writer, no?!) I really loved all of Michelle’s advice, particularly on motherhood and her mentality for raising kids.

The first ever female space walk is happening now! Pretty cool. Although, on a kind of ridiculous note, the first one was initially meant to happen in March but it was canceled after NASA realized it didn’t have enough spacesuits to fit two women. Grr.

This week Jess and her team published a blog post all about “Climate Change + Approachable Ways To Make A Difference” which is an amazing read! I love how they broke down realistic ways to enforce change.
Prince Harry interviews Jane Goodall in this fascinating piece all abut the environment and how our youth brings hope. (Did you know he only wants two kids, primarily for environmental reasons!? Interesting.)

My new favorite podcast – Be There In Five. She’s HYSTERICAL. The first episode I listened to was “VSCO Girl, Wash Your Face” and I couldn’t stop laughing. (She also dove into a really interesting deep dive on Rachel Hollis that totally changed my opinion of her.) Go listen!
