Happy Leap Day & Happy (Almost) March!
Wow the past few weeks have been wild ones.
When we took our Labor and Delivery course the instructor said to prepare for intense nesting when you near your due date, and that’s exactly what’s been happening here! I remember this feeling as I neared the end of my pregnancies with Grace and Josephine, but it’s definitely been different this time around. I think owning my own business has added a layer of stress and needing to prepare unlike I experienced before, and I’ll be honest, I’m feeling the pressure! Which, to me, is honestly so motivating. I’ve been more productive over the past few weeks than at any time in recent memory.
Beyond that, we’re pretty much ready for baby! His nursery is done, car seats are installed, our room is set up with his bassinet, and the hospital bags are packed. Overall I’m feeling really good about where we’re at, so beyond continuing to hustle to get ahead on work in order to provide myself with a somewhat make-shift maternity leave, I’m trying to relax where possible. Have so much fun content coming your way over the next few weeks, by the way! Be sure to keep looking out for all the goodness.

Steal of the week: Sleeveless Tiered Dress. This is only $30! To my surprise, it also fits a bump (Cozy for sure, but it works!) Look for this in my Instagram feed this weekend!

In Case You Missed
I missed posting a roundup last week (sorry!) so this catch up is a big one! Here’s what’s been going on over on this corner of the internet over the past few weeks.
I launched a new series called That Charming Woman, and I also launched the first highlight, which was of Grace Atwood of The Stripe & “Bad on Paper” podcast. Grace’s feature is filled with amazing insights, including tips for time management, her advice for growing a following, and more!
What Are Your Favorite Baby Names? – Shared some of ours — both boy and girl names — in this post! (Is baby boy’s name on there? Hmmm…..)

What Not To Say To A Pregnant Woman – I received so many hysterical DM’s on Instagram about this! Apparently many of you have had similar experiences of people saying the oddest things to you while pregnant. This one was fun to write!
That Charming Brand: VEJA – This month’s “That Charming Brand” highlight was on VEJA sneakers. I love this brand so much and hope you enjoyed this write up! As a reminder, “That Charming Brand” is a regular series where I highlight companies making waves in sustainability.
