There are no words to express the deep gratitude that I feel for this life that I’ve been blessed with. I’m grateful for things big and small, so many that I couldn’t possibly begin to list them all. Things like like my job, this blog, health, travel, our country, clean water, sunshine, and cozy nights while the snow is falling.
Most importantly, I’m grateful for the people in my life. My friends, family and husband are the reason why I smile every day; they’re the people that, without them, things would mean absolutely nothing.
Today is a reflection of this, but it’s also a reminder that a sole day shouldn’t be the only time when we express gratitude for those who make our lives whole. May we all celebrate Thanksgiving with this in mind. Here’s to hugging our loved ones extra close, calling a friend we haven’t talked to in a while, and letting those most important to us know that they are the reason our thanks is said loudly, today and every day.

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Each day I find new things that I am thankful for, I’m looking forward to spending the day with family and friends who I couldn’t imagine my life without.

Great sentiment, Emily. I feel the same way – *things* don’t matter, it is the friends and family that we have that matter. I think that is so important and something I take for granted sometimes.
Hope you had a lovely holiday.

And I am the MOST thankful for you – for your friendship, constant inspiration, unwavering support, and your ability to always make me laugh {even on those days where I just want to cry}. I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving! xx
