As a kid, whenever someone asked what my favorite color was, “Blue” was proclaimed loudly and proudly. “What type of blue?” they’d ask, to which “Sky blue or baby blue” were always my specifications. Through the years, gold, coral, emerald and peach have flooded my pool of answers to the age-old question. But, recently, I’ve found myself diverting back to my younger years, this time with “Pastel blue” as my winner.
I’m not sure if it’s the season, or perhaps the fact that it’s such a soft and feminine twist to the shade, but pastel blue everything has been on my mind. One steal that I found was a blazer on the sale rack at Anthropologie {Similar finds here & here}. It’s the perfect transition piece to warmer weather, and I even had the opportunity to wear it last week without an overlaying coat! I paired it with vintage earrings from my grandma, bell bottoms and a polka dot mesh shirt underneath that I got from a little boutique years ago.

That blazer is amazing! Such a fun color and it’s just the right spring accent to wear with black and denim!
