June’s Most-Loved Items

Can you believe we’re already nearing the end of June?!

This month has been a complete whirlwind. As of May we were fully vaccinated, and after the crazy + stressful year that’s in the rearview, we were excited to safely get some plans on the calendar with those we haven’t seen in what feels like forever. And so, we got out those calendars and said, “Let’s GO!” The result? Every weekend, a new adventure!

Within the span of a month, Doug and I took an anniversary road trip, Beau was baptized, Grace turned 6, my girlfriends and I reconnected in up north Michigan, we went to Saugatuck for a family wedding (And Beau got to meet so many family members!), and currently Doug and I are in Chicago reconnecting with lots of friends here. Whew! Like I said — a total whirlwind. Honestly, we’re a bit tired and in need of the minimal-plans-and-lots-of-rest July that’s on our horizon. But it’s also been so amazing to see so many that we haven’t been able to in so long.

Of course, finally being able to have plans has meant – gasp! – getting dressed again. I almost had forgotten that I own things other than leggings and sweatshirts. With the fun of outfit planning in motion, I thought I’d share some of my most-loved items from this past month. As we officially kick off the summer season this week and enter into “Shot girl summer”, we all deserve to add some items to our wardrobes that make us feel happy to be out and about again!
