Grunge. The 90s-era trend that’s rooted in Nirvana’s punk vibe and brings flannel out of the woodworks. At its infancy Jean Paul Gaultier described it as, “Nothing more than the way we dress when we have no money”, but we all know grunge amounted to much more than that. It’s a raw look that simultaneously took over the scene all while being anti-fashion. What goes around comes around, as they say, and a decade later…grunge is back.
What do you think? Is grunge a trend to try or one that you’ll pass on this fall?
My vote: It’s a do, if you do it right. I certainly won’t be letting grease drip from my hair and probably will never think messy is a “thing”, but there are definite ways to embrace the look. Case in point: Grown up grunge.

Totally agree with you. If you do it, do it right! It’s a trend I might incorporate slowly and in small ways 🙂
I think grunge is a trend I would totally try but in a clean, tasteful way for some boldness. Oily hair- no thanks!
Cheers!

I’m really excited to incorporate grunge elements like plaid shirts and rips into my current wardrobe, it reminds me of my youth:)
I’m definitely into it – it’s got the tomboy feel that I love!
