Gift Guide For The Kids
Magnetic Tiles Building Set
These things are so cool. They’re basically a modern day building block set, only you can make so many different things from them, like buildings or even little animals. Creativity at its best, and appropriate for any age!
Jellycat Stuffed Animals.
Shown here is the Luna Unicorn, ‘Fuddlewuddle’ Lion, and my personal favorite, the Drake Dragon – I don’t know what it is about these stuffed animals, but both Josephine and Grace are obsessed. They’re uber soft and cuddly — the kind that naturally are cuddled while falling asleep — and are also the perfect car companions.
Elf on the Shelf & Book
Our family’s newest tradition! We actually started doing the “elf” this week. We hide it in a new place every night, and when the girls wake up they get really excited to look for her. This would make such a cute present!
Snow Tube
When we go sledding, these inflatable sleds are what we use. They’re easy inflate/deflate, and you can really cruise down hills in these things!
Super Hero Finger Puppets
Gracie has a similar set and loves to “pack” them into her purse when we go into the car. They’re so cute, and yes, portable!
Native Slip On Sneakers
Joey LIVED in these things over the summer. Not the best for winter, of course, but find out the shoe size of the kid you’re buying for and go a size up. They’re amazing and so easy to slip on and off!
Glow In The Dark Decals
What kid doesn’t love decorating their room with these?!
Books, Books, Books!
Lumping all the books in this guide into this description. Pictured here are two of Amazon’s top rated children’s books, “Do You Believe In Unicorns” and “Be Kind”. I’ve read that “Mixed” is a lovely book all about promoting inclusion for kids, and I adore the “Little People, Big Dreams” sets. (Particularly the “Women in Science” and “Women in Art” versions!) Two other books that my girls love (and I know the authors personally!) include “Lil Booger Buddies”, which encourages kids to invent for themselves, and “Sneaky Socks”, which is the cutest story about losing socks that we ALL can relate to!
Hunter Boots
Every person, even the kiddos, needs a pair of Hunter boots! 😉
Little Giraffe Baby Blankets
These blankets are hands down the BEST. My girls both have “blankies” that are Little Giraffe blankets. They’re super soft, satin trimmed, and come in lots of great color options!
Mega Blocks
Colorful, fun to play with, and easy to pick up. Every kid needs a set of these!
Durable Kid’s Doctor Kit
My girls are both ALL about doctor’s kits lately, which is of course something I love to promote! This is the cutest set and I love that’s durable and has large enough pieces for Joey to play with, too.
Anywhere Chairs
You guys. THESE MAKE THE BEST GIFTS. Grace has one and it’s become her own little reading chair. They’re light weight, so you can carry them easily from room to room, and they’re low to the ground, making them perfect for kids to climb on.
Baby Shark Mittens
Anyone else have the “Baby Shark” song constantly playing?! Why not embrace it? PS – There’s also a hat that matches!
Converse Sneakers
Is there anything cuter than a kid in Converse sneakers? I think not.
Patagonia Coat
For keeping them nice and warm!
A few honorable mentions not pictured: A mini guitar, for the little rocker + The Incredibles figurines (Grace is currently obsessed) + Frozen Boombox & Microphone (What Grace asked for from Santa!)
