In honor of my dear friend Kristen’s wedding this weekend, I thought I’d pause my typical Thursday wedding-throwback post to share some snapshots of her beyond-charming bridal shower. Hosted by her sisters and co-maids of honor, the shower was held in one of my favorite bakeries in Chicago, Floriole, which was the perfect setting for the DIY-infused event that the ladies put together. Between gold-dotted placemats, flowers held in rustic jars and vases, and hand written food labels, it was adorably decorated with the perfect bride-to-be to match!
Floriole Bridal Shower
Without fail, one of my favorite parts about a wedding shower are couple-themed games. At this shower, Kristen and her fiance Chris held two signs, each with their faces on it. The shower guests picked a “Who’s most likely” question out of a bowl, and the couple answered by holding up the face fitting as the best answer. I’ve got to say, of all the couples I’ve seen play this game, Kristen and Chris were the most aligned! A true match, indeed.
Congrats, you two! I can’t wait to celebrate your marriage this upcoming weekend. xo

Wow they decorated that so well, they should get into the wedding decorating business! I loveeee those gold dotted place mats! I’ll definitely have to reuse this idea for my Bridesmaid Brunch!
