Dressing Room Try On: More Great Items From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Alright. I promise this is my last post for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

With the sale’s public access in full motion, I’m sure you’ve grabbed your most-coveted items already! But, definitely consider the below, which are focused on lovely basics that will be an amazing add to your wardrobe for any season/time. (By the way, I attempted this dressing room try on for two days straight after work, but had the girls with me so kept failing. Lesson learned: Toddlers and clothes shopping doesn’t mix well!)

I will caveat the below by noting that a lot was unavailable in store! However, there’s a ton of inventory still available online, so be sure to scroll all the way down for honorable mentions that I wish I could have tried on in person but are still able to be snagged online.

TopShop Jamie Flare Jeans – Retro chic at its finest, and super comfortable. I’ve had flare jeans before that cut in at the waist for an uncomfortable fit, but these have just the right amount of stretch. Also, they’re under $50. Heyy-yo! 1901 Blouson Sleeve Cardigan – We’ll call this one “Grandma chic”. Looks adorable on its own or layered. Can see this being the best counterpart next to a summer bonfire or crisp fall day.

NYDJ Ami Super Skinny Jeans – Flattens the tummy, lifts the rear. Need I say more? 1901 Ruffled Floral Cotton Blouse – A fun, retro-inspired pattern that is stylish and fresh. Dress it up or down! (Would also look cute tied in the middle, with jeans.)

Halogen Belted Skirt – For all my working ladies out there! An ultra-mod option that is has a super flattering waistline. Halogen Side-Stripe Pull On Pants – I admittedly wasn’t sure about these at first but once I tried them on I was in love! They’re really flattering, and a fun option for pants that are super stylish and menswear-inspired. Halogen Varsity Knit Cardigan – If you’re sensing a bit of a 70s-loving trend here, you’re right. I really was gravitating toward these type of items during this sale! Love this sweater – it’s a classic style, open front, and so comfortable! Halogen Belted Cashmere Cardigan – If you are to get one item from this sale, this is my recommendation. It’s 100% cashmere, ultra-soft, comes in five colors, and super flattering. Would look adorable paired with a skirt for work, and also perfect for weekend-wear paired with pants. Love, love, love!

Wit & Wisdom Ab-solution Stretch Ankle Skinny – So soft, so comfy! If you’re looking for a great pair of black jeans, these are a great option. Halogen Tie Waist Wide Leg Trousers – OBSESSED. These were so flattering on, and the side bow is the perfect addition to bring a feminine twist. Can’t beat the price, either! Nordstrom Cashmere Crewneck Pullover – Sweater season called and requested this specifically. Another ultra-soft option, and I love the color!

Honorable Mentions: I was kind of bummed that a lot of the items I was coveting from browsing the sale further weren’t available in-store for trying on (items go so fast!), however there is a ton of inventory still online! Here are the additional items that I recommend checking out.

1901 Original Blazer – A girl can never have too many, and this color is lovely.
