If you’re sick of hearing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, hold up for one second. I’ve got some picks that you: A. May not have considered, B. Absolutely need to consider, and C. Will be gone fast.
Tomorrow’s the last day to shop early access before the crowds go wild, so definitely sign up for a Nordstrom card and get shopping if you haven’t done so already! If not, hurry on the morning of the 21st to the site, because you can bet all the best finds in the sale will be gone in zero time if they’re not already.
Alright, back to shopping. I took the opportunity to try some goodies on while swinging by the sale the other day. With that, I give you my first ever dressing room confessions! It was really fun to peruse the sale, pick out some favorites, and try them on for good measure. Seeing things in person always gives an item great added context, and I ended up finding some things that I had overlooked online prior. Sometimes it’s just so helpful seeing them on!
Here are the top items I recommend you buy right now, before they’re sold out! (PS – Don’t judge the photo quality, all these were taken on my phone!)

(They go back to $185 when the sale is over!) This cotton tunic makes me want to curl in a ball and take a nap. It’s loose and yet is stylish with its rib eyelets running down the sides. Only $45 – yeehaw!Whereeee is this online?! Couldn’t find it – so sorry – but if you love it, head in store and they may have it. Plus, this dress is under $100!These bell sleeves add the perfect amount of drama and the floral print is so pretty. The jeans are Hudson! This Trouve jacket is so adorable (also check out this one from Halogen!), and it also comes in black. The striped shirt is perfect for mixing and matching!

So, much as I wanted to, I obviously couldn’t try on everything while at the store. There are some great additional picks in this post, but I’ve rounded up some refreshed options below. Also, I’ve perused for the men and for the home, too. Arriba!
:: Shop More Great Finds ::
This open-front cardigan is so versatile, this ruffle sleeve cardigan makes a fun statement, and these black faux leather leggings are a must.
On the shoe front, some favorites include these thigh-high boots which are under $100, these d’Orsay-style flats, . In terms of accessories, these ear crawlers are amazing, these tassel drop earrings make me want to dance, and this clutch is a great closet staple.
:: Shop Picks For Men ::
Some favorites that I’m eyeing for Doug include this gingham button up (you don’t need to iron it – yea!), this polo which comes in lots of great colors for fall, and these jeans which would make me say, “Cute butt.” Also, a Patagonia on sale is always a good idea. (This one is under $100!)
:: Shop Picks For The Home ::
Wait, who knew Nordstrom had so many great home items?! Admittedly, this is not the place I’d think of first for this category, but I was so pleasantly surprised with their options once I started browsing. I adore this mirrored gold bar cart and these pretty green glasses to adorn it. Random note: I’m thinking of overhauling all our towels and replacing them with stylish turkish towels. This is the perfect opportunity! Also, can we talk about this pineapple float?!
