Any wedding guest book will be filled with special words and names that mean the most to you, but there’s just something about getting love advice from those that helped kick off your marriage on the day you were wed. I love ours for this very reason. We asked guests to share their “Love Lessons to Live By” and the result was priceless advice filled with equal parts sentiment and humor.
Admittedly this idea came last minute because we actually hadn’t thought of anything a few weeks prior to the wedding day. However, therein lies the best part of the project: It was simple, easy and resourceful. {For a peek at other details & DIYs from our wedding, check out this post!}

All you need are assorted gold frames, paper and a gold marker. I purchased the frames from this shop on Etsy {I know…shocker.} and grabbed the paper from Paper Source. From there, I wrote out little lessons to surround the main frame as examples, and it was completed in no time!
Stay tuned for what we end up doing with all those pieces of paper filled with advice from our guests! To be honest, we’ve still yet to figure it out. But, I know we’ll think of something clever. 😉

This is so cute! Great idea!
I bet these are so much fun to read through 🙂 I like the idea of writing out a note, opposed to just writing your name – makes it so much more meaningful!

So stinking cute! I love those little frames 🙂 xx
Great inspiration!
One of my cousin’s is getting married this month (!!!) and she did something similar during her wedding shower. It was a fill in the blanks type of paragraph, and it asked questions like this. Our table wrote hilarious but sentimental things- I can only imagine how fun it must be to read through it all 🙂
