A Long Weekend in Charleston
Everything you’ve heard is true. Charleston is a town that’s filled with southern charm, hospitality and something new to admire every step of its historic street. Every turn of this walkable city presents a new view of colorful houses painted hues inspired by the ocean. And the shopping. Don’t even get me started on the shopping!
If you’re thinking of visiting Charleston, my advice is to do it, do it, do it. Stop reading right now (…okay fine, finish this post first) and go book your travel. My mom, Gracie and I spent 5 days there in November, and I very much fell in love with the city. It’s a place I’d like to return to every year, if I could.

Highlights of Nicaragua – Granada, Masaya & Ometepe Island
Ah, Nicaragua. If you couldn’t tell from my post on San Juan Del Sur, I feel inclined to reiterate that this place is a dream. A tropical, colorful dream.
In part II of our trip recap, I’m sharing the adventures we took outside of San Juan Del Sur. We went on two day trips: One to the Granada/Masaya region, and one to the Isla de Ometepe. Both trips are no-doubt two of the top things to do in Nicaragua as they were filled with so much culture.

Highlights of San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua
Last April, my girlfriends and I embarked on a vacation of a lifetime to Nicaragua. Nicaragua was somewhere we’d all never been and wanted to explore since we’d heard amazing things about it. We’d heard it was “less touristy” than Costa Rica, affordable, and absolutely gorgeous. So, we set out to explore the country with just the girls, to celebrate life, friendship and new adventures as we rang in our milestone birthday!
