…Because sometimes the best way to have a Carrie Bradshaw moment in a fabulous black tulle skirt, is to have a Carrie Bradshaw moment in a fabulous black tulle skirt. What is it about tulle that makes you immediately feel…twirl worthy?
On this particular Saturday, I was dolled up for a brunch prior to my cousin’s wedding. We were in Holland, Michigan, and Doug and I had a little time to kill, so we thought, “Why not go to the Windmill Island Gardens and take photos?!” (I’m Dutch, so I got way too excited about celebrating my heritage.)
So we did, and it ended up being such a fun pit-stop in our weekend as we walked around embracing being tourists, taking in the flowers, wooden shoes, and windmills galore. Heels made it that much more scenic, as I fluttered from spot to spot feeling very “Carrie Bradshaw”, indeed.
I paired my tulle skirt (similar here & here) with a striped t-shirt, Ann Taylor blush pumps, diamond studs and necklace, and a clutch from Cuyana, which is the most beautiful color. (I received my Cuyana clutch from their team after attending a dinner with The Everygirl a few weeks back, and it’s quickly become my go-to for bringing a classic, feminine touch to an outfit.)
