Pardon the bout of silence over here, but I was in my happy place.
Now, we’re back in Chicago and – surprise! – my to-do lists have patiently waited for me. Hopefully this week I’ll get ahead. Or at the very least, I’ll catch up. Either way, can you blame me? I’ve officially figured out that, in life, the tasks will always be there. The sunshine, lake, and people you love are well worth putting them on hold for.

That happens to me every time I go home — I always think I’m going to get ahead and get so much done but family time ends up filling my days! Sometimes it is ok to move the to-do list to the side and just enjoy time with your family! (and the cutest little babe!!) Hope you had the best time at home!

I’m very glad that you got time to relax and enjoy yourself, the to-do lists can worry about themselves lol. I absolutely love the beach too! And your relaxed attitude was reflected in your clothes–comfy, happy, and still very chic.
