I have this thing with flowers. In fact, confession time: I spend way too much on them. Like, to the point where Doug’s had to put me on a “flower budget” in the past. It’s bad.
Wait, scratch that…it’s good. Right?! Even though they’re a bit of a strain on the budget, they’re good for all other things considered. They make a bad day brighter, and a good day more colorful. They smell lovely. Also, they bring a sense of calm.
I simply am going to rebel against a home that doesn’t have them. Even in the winter, I consider them a must.
Anyways. When I was in Nashville, I was excited to come across Amelia’s Flower Truck twice. Each time, I couldn’t get over the charm — I dotted around the trucks, snapping photos, and admiring their floral selections. I even made my friends pose in front of one because how could I not?! #InstaMoment I couldn’t help but think, “What an amazing business idea!” To drive around a city in a vintage Volkswagon, spreading joy by providing something that is guaranteed to brighten a day, would be so much fun.
I’d go as far as saying that if I weren’t doing what I’m doing right now, I think I’d drive around in a flower truck all day and really make some magic. I’d probably also get a dog and have it cruise around with me all day. Just saying.
It just sounds like a perfect fit. Sending big kudos to the founder, Mattie Bush! Cutest. Business. Ever.
Am I right or am I right?
