The land of the free and home of the brave is known for preppy fashion icons, among which names like Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren shine. It was these designers that made the classic prep style famous. The look is always sharp and appropriate for almost any occasion.
How does a guy dress prep? It’s a matter of simple addition. Boat shoes or loafers + A comfortable & clean button down shirt + Chino pants + Belt (Preferably leather) + Nice watch. There’s flexibility within the framework, of course, but the goal is to be understated yet polished.
All-American style is my favorite look on men, and I was fortunate to be surrounded by some handsome lookers while in New England. Tommy & Ralph would have been proud.

I think it’s so easy for guys to dress preppy. My husband has taken to gingham shirts lately, and you won’t hear any complaints from me!
With menswear simple is always better! Love the first shirt, can’t go wrong with red and blue!

love it.. classic prep is always a great choice. i’m just glad we’re not featuring pastel on pastel and a popped collar. what kind of prep do you call that? lol
all-american prep always reminds me of andy from The Office, haha! but your friends really DO look dashing, so i guess i should start retransforming my image towards Ralph Lauren just like you said. A man never looks bad in a good gingham shirt 😉
