December is here, and you know what that means…
It’s Red season!
Truth be told, I’m a year-round fan of this vibrant color. From bright lips to a little red dress, it’s a bold choice and always full of excitement. While red can be found over here no matter the season, this time of year is no doubt its true time to shine. Everything looks more festive with a great pop of red!
With holiday gatherings and festive soirees in full swing, I thought it’d be fun to share some ways to style red this season. Here are 4 easy ways to style & wear red, December’s favorite color.
4 Ways To Style Red
Pair It With Neutrals
Specifically, black and white. Red is such a bright, bold color, and often it can be tough to style. My go-to route is to pair it with either black, white, or both! What’s nice about this combination is that you can easily mix and match items, and no matter the season, it always works.

Embrace It With Plaid
Plaid is to winter as sandals are to summer. My favorite plaid is a pattern with red incorporated, like this tartan print pictured above. Here, I’ve paired it with a tulle skirt – plaid can be a bit “masculine” looking so I love to pair it with something uber feminine, especially if heading to an event!

Rock It Solo
Move over little black dress, the little red dress is stealing the show! A red dress is just plain fun, no?! It’s also fun to style! Here, I’ve approached the look airing on the simple side, pairing it with black heels and a gold chain necklace. However, I’d also wear this with some fun printed heels or even a leather jacket to bring a bit of edge. Red’s not a shy color, don’t be shy styling it!

Lean Into Accessories
Not into all red? That’s okay! There’s still great ways to tie the color into your look. Here, I’ve incorporated pops of red with the hair scarf and heels. Easy, simple, and yet still super cute and a festive tie-in.
