In an attempt to get ahead at blogging for October {Because, to be honest, I’ve felt so behind lately} I took a browse through the past few months of posts and realized that my beloved link-love session, also known as 3x The Charm, has totally fallen off the radar. Which is a shame, really, because there is so much goodness to share from the interwebs on a regular basis.
This here is my stance on bringing it back every week. {Or, at least I’ll try to, but guys work has been nutty lately so it’s been hard to keep up! I figure if I at least have my stance in writing, it’s harder to fall short.} Without further ado, let’s get to it!
:: Last weekend I got the complete fall experience while in Michigan for my bestie’s wedding shower. I took a walk through changing trees, swung by the cider mill to enjoy a warm donut by the river, and had late night wine chats with my family. Do any other city-goers feel a huge sense of calm when leaving the hustle and bustle? I don’t know what that means, if anything, but whenever I go to Michigan to have days like the ones I had last weekend, I feel renewed. Perhaps it’s just that I feel home.
:: I was so excited to be a model in the Anthropologie fall fashion show last night. {Check out a preview of my look!} To my surprise, they had me walking the runway as the finale look, which was both intimidating and surreal. I did a little twirl, had a big smile, and can’t wait to share the entire behind the scenes scoop with you next week. Be sure to check in!
:: For your browsing pleasure :: I was honored to recently be quoted in Chicago’s Red Eye for advice on styling a leather jacket. :: Has anyone read Gone Girl? The movie comes out today and I’m dying to see it! :: These hysterical frat guys made me love “Shake It Off” even more than I already did. :: Curious as to what makes a great boss? Here you go. :: An article on climate change that made me feel optimistic. :: I’ve recently updated the ITC Shop with new fall picks! :: Just in case you missed it, this week I rounded up 10 stylish coats for $150 or less and shared a darling polka dot dress.
Now, go kick off October weekends right, and bite into a juicy caramel apple. xo

If the Kansas City Royals weren’t playing tonight, I would be at the Gone Girl premier 😉 I’m really looking forward to it! Have a fabulous weekend, Emily!
