Winter isn’t just “coming.” It’s HERE!
Kels here! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to put these tootsies away and into some closed toed boots. Whether they are fashion forward, cozy, or weather proof (Or, ideally all of the above!), boot season is one of my favorites when it comes to dressing. Which is why I had so much fun pulling a roundup of 15 stylish winter boots under $200 for this post!
There are so many different options, and they really can make a simple outfit pop. At a minimum, they add warmth and comfort to the (at times) brutal months that Midwesterners know all too well.
15 Stylish Winter Boots Under $200
Circus by Sam Edelman Women’s Gretchen Fashion Boot
Both Emily and I I own these boots! They’re AMAZING for many reasons. First, they are under $100 on Amazon. Second, they’re comfortable, warm, and stylish. I’ve worn them for about a week now and I’ve been asked by at least 15 people where I got them. Trust me on these ones, guys! These Marc Fisher options are a similar style that I love; they’re a little more of a splurge but for a good staple boot like this, totally worth it.
Cassie Faux Leather Wedge Boot
The Cassie Faux Leather Wedge Boots are very similar looking to the popular Sorel Joan of Arctic Wedge Boot, but for a fraction of the cost. If you have a hard time splurging on a waterproof boot for the season, these are for you! (And, hey, if you’re open to a splurge…definitely check out those amazing Sorel ones!)
Sam Edelman Jennifer Biker Boot
Currently obsessing over the biker boot trend. Never did I ever think I would type that previous sentence a few years ago, but I’m FULLY on board with this look. It’s perfect for anyone, at any age, and I love that it brings an element of edge to an outfit. I’ve been eyeing this pair for awhile now, SO cute and perfect to pair with leggings, cropped mom jeans, or even a casual dress!
Jeffrey Campbell Cloudy Waterproof Chelsea Rainboot
This is a cute yet practical rain boot (which are also great for winter when doubles with warm socks), cut from faux leather. The shoes are lifted by a platform and lugged sole so you can take on wet weather in confident style. Easy and quick to put on…and can handle any weather!
Sorel Explorer Joan Boot
Combining the warmth of a winter boot with the casual ease of a sneaker. These Sorel Explorer Joan Boots are a cozy and are a waterproof style that won’t weigh you down. Love throwing these on with leggings or jeans and a sweater! (Em edit: I currently have the Sorel Harlow Lace shoes and they’re AMAZING. Be sure to check out those options, too!)
Dolce Vita Cyan Block Heel Booties
A pair of go-anywhere booties that you’ll basically live in. These Dolce Vita boots have a sleek, streamlined design that can be dressed up or down, and can be paired with everything from a cute a line skirt to ankle jeans.
Steve Madden Bumper Camo Hiking Boot
Camo is one of my favorite prints in the world. I just love the casual yet chic and savvy feel of it. Which is exactly how I would describe these amazing, affordable boots!
Madewell Snakeskin Carina Boot
Snakeskin boots are another top item on my want list this year. These ones are amazing — they’re a best seller for a reason! — and I love that the heel is low. Theses booties are perfect for walking around all day as they can be worn anywhere. They also have an extra layer of padding so they’re even easier on the feet.
Sperry for J.Crew Shearwater Buckle boots
These puppies will keep you warm and toasty this winter, as well as keep those fragile feet nice and dry! Love that these are the most epic combo of rain and snow boots with a savvy look.
Free People Whitney Short Weather Boot
Love these cozy boots as an alternative to Uggs. The flannel-covered look is adorable and adds a little snazziness to such a casual style. Also love the feature of the pull-cord laces and an insulated cozy interior.
Everlane Square Toe Chelsea Boot
Ok I lied, these are SLIGHTLY over the $200 mark….but do you blame me?! Made of premium Italian leather, the Square Toe Chelsea Boot has a leather heel tab, a low stacked heel, and is just the chicest boot I’ve ever laid eyes on! Personally, I’m digging the Biscuit colored pair.
Dr. Scholl’s So Cozy Waterproof Bootie
A great, affordable faux shearling lined bootie to get you through the wind, rain, and snow. Dr. Scholl’s is known for comfort, so if that’s a huge must-have for you, these are a must!
Ugg Mini Waterproof Bootie
This boot is a fun twist on your typical Ugg boot. Your toes stay toasty in this puffer-inspired boot that’s temperature rated to -32 degrees Fahrenheit thanks to a faux-fur and UGGpure lining, plus 200 grams of insulation. Waterproof construction helps keep feet dry, while the grippy rubber sole with tractor treads ensures sure-footed traction in wintry weather.
Bog’s Women’s Winter and Rain Boot
I thought Bog’s were only a children’s winter boot brand (which are AMAZING by the way), but I was pleasantly surprised to see these for adults. I love how these are a little unique and different! They’d be clearly very easy to pull on when you need an option for on-the-go, and the fact that they’re tall is perfect for any place it snows a lot.
Barclay Snakeskin Ankle Boot
Probably won’t want to wear these in the snow, but these are adorable for indoor wear until the snow melts! I’m always a sucker for a western style boot. These classic western-inspired leather boots feature a curved top edge and a tall block heel to make you stand out at any occasion!

Now, excuse me while I go throw on my Circus by Sam Edelman Women’s Gretchen Fashion Boot, and man the first winter snow to grab my kiddos at school.
